Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Epiphra account at any time. This page explains the two ways to do it, what gets removed, and how long the process takes.

Deletion is permanent. Once your data is removed from our active systems, it cannot be recovered. If you change your mind later, you're welcome to sign up for a fresh Epiphra account, but previous conversations will not be restored.

The quickest way

Open Epiphra and head to Settings → Account → Delete account. The app will confirm before anything is removed.

1. Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Epiphra app on your phone:

    Open the Epiphra app on your device.

    Tap Settings, usually accessible from your profile or the top-right menu.

    Tap Account.

  4. 4

    Tap Delete account, and confirm when prompted.

You'll be signed out immediately, and your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

2. What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone number, sign-in identity).

  • All conversations and reflections you've created in Epiphra.

  • App preferences, settings, and personalization choices.

3. What may be retained

In some cases, a small amount of information may remain after deletion:

  • Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that no longer identify you (used to improve the app).

  • Records we're legally required to keep (e.g. payment receipts for accounting and tax obligations).

  • Backups, which are overwritten on a rolling cycle and fully purged within 30 days of your deletion request.

None of this retained information can be used to re-identify you. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

4. Timeline

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Your account is disabled the moment you confirm, and you're signed out on every device.

Personal data is removed from our active production systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups continue to cycle and are fully overwritten within the same 30-day window.

If you requested deletion by email, you'll receive a confirmation message once the process is complete.
